Demons' Crest Anime Reveals Staff, Cast & 2026 Debut

Well, it seems like 2026 is going to be quite the year for new anime, and 'Demons' Crest' is throwing its hat into the ring. Production I.G is behind this one, which is usually a good sign for animation quality. We've got Haruka Shiraishi and Konomi Inagaki leading the cast, and a release date sometime in 2026. The announcement came with a promotional video, which I suppose is something.

Look, I'm not going to pretend I know anything about the source material for 'Demons' Crest' right now, but Production I.G doing the animation? That's… a positive. They usually deliver on the visual front, so at least we can expect it to *look* good. Whether the story itself will be compelling is the real question, isn't it?

It's always a gamble with these new series. You hope for something fresh and exciting, but you often end up with more of the same. Still, I'll admit a small part of me is curious. If Shiraishi and Inagaki are putting their all into their roles, and Production I.G is doing their usual magic, maybe it won't be a complete disappointment. But don't expect me to be raving about it until I see it.
