Another new anime is on the horizon, this time a series called 'Charisma.' King Records has officially opened the doors to its production, revealing the main staff and giving us a hint of what's to come with a teaser visual. It's slated to hit TBS affiliate networks in January of 2027, which feels like a lifetime away.
The team behind this includes Director Jouji Furuta, who’s worked on *Uta no☆Prince-sama♪*, and Series Composition by Shuu Matsubara, known for *Osomatsu-san*. Pierrot Films is handling the animation. Honestly, while those names might mean something to some people, I’m not exactly brimming with anticipation. Mixed-media projects can be hit or miss, and this sounds like it could easily lean towards the 'miss' category.
I suppose I'll reserve judgment until we see more. It’s always possible that the combination of staff and source material could result in something genuinely interesting, but based on the initial information, it’s just another series to add to the ever-growing list. Don't expect me to be counting down the days, though. It's just… another thing.
