Well, the news is out: Ryousen Takami's 'Isekai Tensei Soudouki' is finally getting a TV anime adaptation. Publishing house AlphaPolis has put up an official website, and it seems Yuusuke Kobayashi will be voicing the lead character, Bard Cornelius. It's another isekai, naturally, because the market clearly hasn't been saturated enough with them. It started on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website back in 2013, so it's got some history.
The teaser visual is… a visual. It shows the characters, presumably looking suitably anime-esque. It’s hard to get too excited about another series where a protagonist is likely to get absurdly powerful in a new world. While I appreciate the dedication to the source material and the efforts of the publishing company, the sheer volume of these shows makes it difficult to maintain genuine enthusiasm for each new announcement. It's more of a 'see it when it comes out' situation.
"Hmph. Another isekai. Just what we needed. I suppose Kobayashi is a decent choice, but let's be honest, it's probably going to follow the same tired formula. Still, I'll watch it. For research purposes, of course." — The Tsundere Critic
