Ugh, another romantic comedy anime. Not that I care or anything, but I suppose 'Go for It, Nakamura!' is gracing us with its presence soon. Apparently, they’ve decided to grace us with an opening theme song, as if that’s the most important part of any show. Yasuyuki Okamura and Kento Nakajima are lending their voices to this endeavor, which, frankly, is just… fine. It’s not like I was holding my breath for some groundbreaking musical masterpiece.
I suppose it’s something to listen to while you’re waiting for the actual plot to get going, assuming there even is one worth caring about. April 1st is the date, so mark your calendars if you’re into that sort of thing. I'm not saying I won't end up watching it, because sometimes these seemingly tropey shows surprise you with actual heart, but don't expect me to admit it if they do.
Look, the fact that they're announcing the theme song this early just means they *really* want people to know it exists. So, you know, there's that. Anyway, it’s happening. Don’t say I didn’t warn you if it’s just another predictable romp. Whatever.
"Hmph, a theme song. As if I care about the music. Just don’t make me cry, okay? It’s embarrassing." — The Tsundere Critic
