Oh great, another game based on a show where nothing actually happens. 'The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten' is apparently getting a video game adaptation from Mages., slated for a July 23rd release. It's set to hit the Switch and, because apparently that's a thing now, the 'Switch 2'. Honestly, I suppose it’s fine if you’re into that sort of thing, with all the sugary sweetness and adorable antics. Just don't expect me to be overly excited about it, okay?
I mean, sure, it’s good that they’re expanding the franchise, and I guess some people might actually enjoy reliving those heartwarming moments in an interactive format. It’s probably going to be filled with dialogue options and maybe some light puzzle-solving, all designed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. I’m sure the animation will be… adequate. It's just that these kinds of stories, while sweet, can be a bit too predictable for my taste.
Still, if this is what gets you going, then go ahead and mark your calendars. Just don't come crying to me if it’s too saccharine or if the gameplay is as bland as unseasoned rice. I’m just saying, there are other things to be excited about. But hey, if you’re a die-hard fan, I guess this is good news for you. Don't get the wrong idea, though! I'm not *that* invested.
