Zombie Manga '#I'm Looking For Zombie' Gets Anime Adaptation

Oh, great. Another zombie series. *Sigh*. Katsuwo's '#Zombie Sagashitemasu' manga is being adapted into a TV anime, and frankly, I'm not exactly jumping for joy. They've revealed the main cast and staff, and a teaser visual and promo video are out. It's set to premiere on TV Asahi's IMAnimation block in October 2026. I suppose it's *fine* if you're into that sort of thing. Miyari Nemoto and Lynn are voicing Aki and Natsuki, respectively. Toshiya Miyata is also in the cast. Whatever. It's not like I was expecting any actual *drama* or emotional depth from a show about zombies, anyway.

Apparently, the production company Kadokawa is behind this. They’ve opened up an official website, which is... standard. The teaser visual and video are… there. They’re showing clips. It’s all very… typical for a shonen adaptation. I'm sure there will be plenty of action and whatever else passes for excitement in these types of shows. It’s not like I have high hopes for anything groundbreaking. I’m just saying, don’t expect me to be emotionally invested. It’s just another series with a quirky premise and a bunch of people running around.

Look, if you're into this kind of thing, good for you. It's airing at 11:30 p.m. in October. Just don't come crying to me if it's all predictable tropes and superficial character interactions. I mean, a zombie hunt? Groundbreaking. It's just… whatever. I'll probably end up watching it out of sheer boredom, but I'm not going to pretend I'm thrilled about it. It's just… there.
