Well, this is just *great*. Just when you thought you might get some actual plot progression in 'The Detective Is Already Dead,' we're met with another delay. Seriously, October 2026? That's practically another lifetime away. I know, I know, 'production circumstances,' but can't they just get things done on time for once? It was supposed to be July 2026, a perfectly reasonable timeframe, and now it's been shoved back by an entire season. It’s enough to make you lose faith in the whole anime industry.
I heard they've got Manabu Kurihara, who did some work on *Tokyo Ghoul*, directing this time, and Deko Akao is on series composition. Not that it matters much when the release schedule looks like a Jenga tower about to collapse. It’s just… frustrating. You get invested in a story, you’re looking forward to the next installment, and then BAM! More waiting. It's not like I'm eagerly anticipating every single plot twist or anything, but a little bit of reliability would be nice. This constant shuffling of release dates is just typical, isn't it?
