Well, well, 'Snowball Earth' is certainly making a splash with its latest announcements. It seems Ai Higuchi will be lending her voice to the ending theme. Not that I'm particularly invested in ending themes, mind you, but a good song can sometimes… *elevate* a show. It's probably just filler music, anyway.
They've also rounded out the cast with more names. Kengo Kawanishi, Tomohiro Ono, Manami Narahira, and Anna Nagase are all on board. I suppose that means there will be characters to… interact. Whether those interactions are meaningful or just more of the same tired tropes remains to be seen. It’s not like I’m expecting groundbreaking drama or anything.
Frankly, I'll be watching with a critical eye, expecting the usual. But if, by some small chance, this series manages to surprise me with something other than predictable plot points or overly dramatic shouting, then perhaps… perhaps it won’t be a complete waste of time. We’ll see on April 3rd, I guess.
"Hmph. An ending theme, more voice actors… it’s probably going to be mediocre. But I’ll still watch it, just to prove myself right… or… something." — The Tsundere Critic
