Seiyuu Awards 20th Winners Announced!

Alright, fine, I guess I'll cover this. The 20th Seiyuu Awards winners have been announced, and honestly, it's not *that* surprising. They held the ceremony at the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Media Plus Hall in Tokyo, which is… a place. The winners were revealed on their internet radio program, because apparently, nobody wants to actually *see* people accept awards anymore. What a shame. The listed anime are between October 2024 and September 2025, which is technically relevant, I suppose. Kikunosuke Toya of Sony Music Artists took home Best Lead Actor, and for what it's worth, he's been in 'Chain...' something or other. Whatever.

Look, it's important to acknowledge the people behind the voices, even if the whole award ceremony system is a bit… much. These voice actors pour their hearts into their roles, and it’s the performances that truly make or break a character, not the fancy awards. Sometimes, though, you hear a performance so good, so impactful, that you can't help but be a little moved. It’s not like I *care* about awards, but good acting is good acting.
