Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 Streams April 8!

Well, well, well. 'Rent-A-Girlfriend' is back for its fifth season. Apparently, a new video has dropped, and it's giving us the official streaming debut date: April 8th. I suppose if you're invested in the complicated, and often baffling, romantic entanglements of Kazuya, this will be cause for celebration. It's certainly a commitment, five seasons of this particular brand of romantic comedy.

The series will also be gracing Japanese television on April 10th. One has to wonder about the longevity of such a concept. While there's clearly an audience for it, the pacing and the… peculiar character dynamics can be a lot to process. Still, for those who find themselves drawn to the drama and the awkwardness, this is the news you've been waiting for. Prepare yourselves for more rental girlfriends and, presumably, more complex emotional situations.
