Reviewing volumes 3-5 of the Kill Blue manga, the series continues to deliver an enjoyable experience despite occasional detours into sports commentary. Fujimaki's unique blend of action and passion remains a key draw.

So, I took a look at volumes 3 through 5 of the Kill Blue manga, and you know what? They’re still pretty darn fun. I mean, it’s no secret that the author, Fujimaki, really loves sports, and sometimes that passion bleeds into the pages a bit too much for my liking. It can feel like it’s derailing things occasionally. But despite those moments, these volumes still manage to be a genuinely enjoyable read. The action is still there, the characters are still doing their thing, and for the most part, it holds together well. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s a solid, entertaining ride.
"Sports again. Honestly, I don't care about the sidelines as much as the main event. But fine, it’s still somewhat entertaining, I guess." — The Tsundere Critic
