Alright, more news about 'Hidarikiki no Eren.' The supporting cast has been announced, which is… fine. It’s not like I’m going to obsess over every single voice actor, but it’s good to know there are people filling out the roles. The fact that the first three episodes are getting a limited theatrical run starting March 27th is also interesting, though I probably won't be bothering to go. It’s just nice to see that they’re putting *some* effort into promoting it, I guess.
The anime is set to premiere on TV Tokyo on April 8th at midnight. Yuko Akane will be voiced by Asaki Yuikawa, and Shun Nagarekawa by Tarusuke Shingaki. I’ve heard of them, I think. Whatever. It’s not like their performances are going to make or break the entire series, right? They just have to do their job. It’s all part of the production pipeline, I suppose, and as long as the final product is decent, it’s fine. I’m not going to get overly excited about every little casting announcement.
So, yeah. 'Hidarikiki no Eren' is getting its cast, it's getting a theatrical preview, and it's coming out in April. I'll probably watch it. Eventually. If I remember. It's not like it’s going to be the most groundbreaking anime of the season, but who knows, maybe it'll surprise me. Don't hold your breath, though.
"More cast members? Big deal. As long as the anime itself is actually good and doesn't turn out to be a complete disappointment, then fine. I'm not impressed yet." — The Tsundere Critic
